Hi! I'm Morgan. I never thought I would do something like this, but I figure what have I got to lose? I'm new to the city, originally from MD. I grew up in a small town, so being here for the last few months has been really exciting. I work in NJ as an executive recruiter for professional sports. It's an amazing job, and I'm learning so much. It took me a few years to figure out what I want to be when I "grow up." It's so satisfying to finally be in a place where I am happy about everything and thankful for all of the decisions I have made to get me here. I truly believe everything happens for a reason, and that hard work eventually pays off!
Even though I'm from MD, I grew up a Philly sports fan....my parents raised me right. One of the best parts of my job is that reading Sports Business Journal is considered work. I went to WVU, and I love my Mountaineer football and basketball. I try to get to a few football games every fall.
I find that there isn't enough time in the day to do everything I would like. When I'm not at work I like to go to the gym, practice yoga, go out with friends, explore the city, try out new restaurants, read, etc. I finished my first half marathon in March, and now I'm getting ready for Broad Street. My goal is to one day run a full marathon....just one, just so I can say I did it! I have a slight news addiction, and enjoy learning about what's going on in the world.
I'm not totally sure what to expect from this. I would like to meet someone who enjoys some of the things I like, but can also introduce me to new things that they like.
