Like most Silicon Valley singles, I like to travel (especially Italy, ...the Amalfi Coast, Tuscany, Umbrian hill towns, Lake Como and and even Elba where Napoleon was exiled....all over France, London, Scotland, Tahiti, China, Okinawa, Australia and elsewhere). I enjoy learning new things, and am interested in sharing a guy's hobbies. And in return, I'd like to share my hobbies and passions as well. Dinners out, comedy clubs, movies are all good. Dinner in, playing Texas Holdem or Mexican Train, and crackling fires are great too. I live a healthy lifestyle...ie, no drugs. I like casual biking, camping and hiking. I would like to try scuba diving or kayaking. Golf is my favorite participatory sport and ice hockey is my favorite spectator sport. Baseball is second, but I am open to other sports. I love animals...dogs, cats, turtles, fish, monkeys. Snakes, not so much.
I have a great family that I value a lot. I definitely want to find someone who is close to his family, not necessarily in distance, but in his heart. I have learned that when you're in a relationship with someone, it is not just you two...friends and family are part of the relationship.
I'm looking for someone who is intelligent, but not arrogant; someone who is sincere and considerate. Of course a good sense of humor is something everyone includes in their profile, and certainly, that is important to me as well. Sarcasm works too. Unflappable optimism and the ability to laugh at yourself are also on my want list. Those are some of the things I can promise in return. Silliness and light-heartedness are also great....or the ability to jump on my silly bandwagon would be fine. I am not a serial dater kind of girl; when I like someone, that's who I want to be with.
I also feed the homeless about once a month and do community projects and would like to find someone who would be comfortable doing those things with me.
I am not looking for a pen pal, so I would like to meet in person sooner rather than later to see if there is any chemistry. If you like what you read, send me an email and say hi!
