I'm new to cyber dating, but I am open and excited to give this a try. I am athletic and lead an active life (not to be confused with doing triathelons or running marathons, but playing hoops in an all male league doesn't scare me. I can hold my own.) I'm pretty adventurous, although I got a lot out of my system, like static line sky diving in my 20s and am perfectly content these days traveling, playing tennis, skiing, going to museums, listening to music and walking/running with my dog on trails in the Rockefeller Preserve.
I live in a beautiful part of Westchester, but work in the city, and have a very active life between the two (socially and work related.) I am ambitious and have a wonderful career, but I like to think I live a balanced healthy life.
I am an upbeat and very positive person. I am also fortunate to have good friends and a caring fun family with which I enjoy spending time.
While I'm well traveled (and have lived in Latin America and Europe) and speak several languages, there are still many places I have yet to visit and would love to see and experience: parts of Asia, Australia, and New Zealand, Chile, and even parts of the US like the Grand Canyon and Alaska are on my list.
I appreciate intellect and wit, and I believe the best relationships are founded on friendship. While progressive and pretty liberal, I would still like a traditional gentleman who offers to open doors and carry suitcases for the ladies -- I suppose it's my southern upbringing I can't escape.
