I'm brand new to DC, having just moved here in December for school. I love exploring new cities and the museums, restaurants, art galleries, and vintage shops I've been to so far have been excellent and I can't wait to see more. I'm very outgoing, always game for an adventure; if the company is excellent, the activity is less important. That said, If you know of awesome sights/sounds/activities, message me and let's go see/hear/do them!
My narrative work leaves much to be desired, but as a former teacher, my listing skills are excellent.
Things I am good at: debating (I would hope intellectually), reading everything, over analyzing, watching horribly shallow reality TV shows, Slavic languages (really I just mean Polish grammar, my Russian SUCKS), making lists, putting ducks into their appropriate rows, loving the inappropro, laughing (a lot), making bold statements (like the next one), kicking butt and taking names, wearing a short skirt and a long jacket, shaming bad manners on public transportation, being a trivia champion.
Things I am bad at: keeping what I really think to myself, being on time, refusing to eat something, trying not to answer questions when the teacher asks, avoiding procrastination, waking up early, putting a good book down (I will not stop till I've finished and everything else has fallen by the wayside), identifying my bias, and getting enough sleep.
You are: outgoing, active, open-minded, have multi-faceted interests, and can hold up your end of a stimulating conversation. You have at least a Bachelor's degree, but are most likely working toward more or already have more. You have clearly defined goals and you career is important to you, but it's not everything. You like to problem solve rather than bicker about trivial matters. However, the qualities I find to be most important are empathy and kindness. I'm really looking for someone who believes in treating himself and everyone else with decency. It also won't hurt if you like Manet and know who Borowski is. If you match that, contact me :)
