Originally from WI, I moved to Denver a few years ago after spending 10 years in Boston. Like so many people, I now call Colorado home and can't imagine leaving. Although my family is scattered a bit, I am lucky that my sister lives close by, family is incredibly important to me. My loyalty to friends and family is one of my best attributes, people in my life know that they can always count on to be there for them, no matter what is going on.
I've traveled to 52 countries but I feel like I've barely made a dent in my passport. I love the unknown and the thrill that comes with traveling. I think the people you meet along the road, in the train station and on random buses are fascinating and funny and knowledgeable and make for a fun adventure. Not being able to read a menu (in a foreign language) can be daunting, but that's when you point and hope for the best! I am a very positive person and like to be around people who are also looking for the best in others, who are energetic and who are kind to strangers. I am polite and kind, but also a little sassy and like to engage in thoughtful discussions. I am a confident professional, but I leave that behind at the end of the work day.....I am more comfortable being silly and laughing out loud with friends.
I'm looking for someone who is independent, ambitious, thoughtful, laid back and has a sense of humor. The little things in life don't bother me, and I always go with the flow - looking for someone with the same mentality. I have learned that life is too short and taking anything too seriously is a waste of time.
