I grew up in southern CA, went to school back east, worked on Wall Street for a while, and moved back here a few years ago to be closer to family.
I'm easy going, straight forward, and down to earth. Career is important to me and I work very hard, but simple things matter most – spending time with friends and family, being near the ocean, goofing around. I love to cook (it'd be really cool if that's something we can do together). I like checking out restaurants, farmers markets, concerts, museums. I'd much rather spend a weekend in Big Sur than in Vegas. And, while going out is fun, I'm perfectly happy staying in, cooking dinner and listening to music.
One of the best things I ever did was take a year off between jobs. I moved to Hawaii, learned to surf, sailed, volunteered at a rainforest preserve, and read boxes of books. I'd love to do something like that again in Italy or SE Asia, with the right person.
I'm looking for someone down to earth, creative and a little quirky. It'd be great if you like to eat, travel, and are generally curious about the world. But more than anything, I'm looking for shared values and chemistry. If we click, it'll be almost non-stop laughter and hopefully a lot of fun adventures.
