Essay:
. I am a city girl/country girl hybrid. It would be wonderful to find the same. I can wear four inch heals with the greatest of ease, and I also know how to safely operate a chainsaw. I have a lot of respect for people with versatility. I believe that getting lost sometimes is part of the journey. I am somewhat known for my misadventures. I am an independent contractor, decorating environments for photographs. I have my career in place and am financially stable. I have worked really hard to be where I stand. I am a creative thinker. Maybe too creative. Good thing is it allows me to adapt. I believe life is to experience. I'm not into the "live to work" philosophy of this country. I'm working at taking off 5 months this year. I'm half way there. (11/12 Update: I made it! After a one month stint in Kauai). I tend not to do the bar or club thing so much anymore. I prefer long meals, all day eating and sipping at the coast, getaways, bbq's, events, physical activities. I was raised in Los Angeles, lived overseas, currently live between SF and Petaluma. In a relationship, I am affectionate and love affection (not in a gross public way). I have done my psychological homework, and seek clear and clean communication whenever possible. (I don't like to play games, what a waste of energy.) I am definitely a strong woman (yet still very feminine), and want to attract an equal. I'm not looking for someone to fix or take care of. I'm getting better at making travel a lifestyle. I have done a fair share, and look forward to doing much more. I have traveled alone extensively in the past, but really look forward to traveling with a partner-in-crime. I really value real-life education. I try to fit in a fair amount of yoga, and trail runs. When I haven't been physically active, my body craves it. I love being outdoors, big hikes, camping, etc. I LOVE to be in water. I just learned how to surf, and now believe that I need to live near warmer waters so that can be a lifestyle (at least part of the year). I don't do cold water, so don't even ask. Dance parties seem to break out in my kitchen on a somewhat regular basis. I love Sunday brunch. Lazy mornings with great coffee is a beautiful thing. I tend to be surrounded with good solid easygoing, yet highly motivated people. I think that it's important to keep things in perspective. I have a serious side, but I don't take myself too seriously. I tend to stir things up (in a good way). I believe in the seriousness of laughter. I strive for balance and moderation in this modern world. I'm happy to meet in person, but not into the high-expectation-interview-date. I'm open to possibilities. Let's see where this goes....
