I like to have fun, smile and laugh a lot. Life's too short to be grouchy all the time, although I do have my moments! I am positive about most things and am a hard worker. I am a country girl and someday would like to be back out in the middle of nowhere. I grew up on a cow/calf ranch in northeastern Colorado. I would like to get back into that; however, it is very difficult to get started. I have lived in Fort Collins and Denver and know that the big city isn't for me. I love being outside, to travel and having animals. I have a dog named Dixie.
Music is one thing I cannot live without. I am always listening to the radio, a cd (yes I still like to buy cd's!) or my ipod. I also like taking pictures when I go hiking. I am starting to sell postcards on the side to see where it goes.
I like having positive people around me. I am very close to my family and don't know what I would do without them.
I am a fairly independent woman but that doesn't mean I don't want someone to share my life with. I am very honest and don't understand liars and cheaters. I also think that if you truly like/love someone you can make it work no matter what the situation is.
What I'm Looking For:
I respect guys who are honest right away or even later, whether it is I really like you or this isn't going to work. I think one of the worst things you can do to someone is leave them hanging. I want somebody who has some of the same interests as I do but it doesn't have to be all of them. However, he has to want to live in the country as well! I want someone that I can be goofy with and then turn around and be serious with when needed. I like having a good conversation with that special someone because it is awesome when you find out something that you thought only you liked until you met them. Conversation is a key thing but the physical attraction has to be there too.
