Let's see- I am originally from NYC and have been here for 2 years. I worked on Wall Street my whole career in different capacites and I kind of miss the craziness of being on a trading floor -and sometimes even the streets of NYC especially during the holidays - but overall, I think that trading in my business suit for my bathing suit and moving to South Florida was one of the best trades that I ever made!
I am a very confident girl who is extrmely energetic and highly-spirited... oh, and let's not forget that I am very independent as well. LOL! (I guess that comes with being a native New Yorker). I am also very down-to-earth and consider myself to be an honest and optimistic person. I love to laugh and have fun...and I believe that lifes simpilist things and moments can really bring the most joy.
I believe in keeping ones word and living by the "Golden Rule" do unto others - that one commandment basically sums up what I am all about.
I live in a small beach town where everyone is either 25 or 70...there just aren't any single men in my age range - so I decided to come on here - Now I know that the odds of finding a guy who has the right combo of chemistry, brains, brawn and looks online is slim-to-none - but I am willing to take my chances, and in the worst case scenario - Slim and I will become new BFF's -LOL
Oh, and the "what I'm looking for" in a guy part: I am looking for a man, who is and wants to be the man. -Someone who is smart, confident and well-rounded, someone with whom I can converse with on a multidude of subjects and who has a good soul.
I am looking for someone who will walk beside me, not behind or in front of me - and most of all - I am looking for that "guy that makes me tick-makes my heart race" and if you ever had it with another person - you will know exactly what I mean.
I love to dance - from ballroom to tango I also enjoy the beach, art, traveling, politics and most sports. I am really into history, architecture, antiquities and I love to learn. If I watch TV it's usually the History, Discovery and Travel Channel shows and of course a good comedy. I am a "fly-by-the-seat-of -your pants" kind of girl - who loves to just pick up and go... sometimes with no reseravations - just winging it! Traveling to new places makes me tick!
Regarding music - I love it all, from classic rock to classical and Italian opera when I am cooking... A little country here... and a little Grateful Dead there......Brazilian music will have me dancing all night - the only exception is RAP and heavy metal - just not for me.
Although I never had children of my own, I spent many years tutoring young children from 2nd grade through highschool seniors (in my spare time) alegbra was my specialty.
PS... In my profile I said that I liked to hunt - I do not. It came as a combo hunting/fishing. I love shooting ranges and love archery but I just can't kill anything but fish.. sorry guys
In addition, although I no longer smoke daily, I will still smoke on occasion, especially if I have a drink.
I am also a member of the Republican/Tea Party - so if you can handle that - then I most certainly can handle you! We will just agree to disagree on that subject.
