I feel like I have to start by stating the obvious fact that writing this is probably one of the most awkward things I'll do in my life. Not sure how to explain who I am or why I'm here in a little box, but I suppose I will try.
I come from a large, hilarious, wonderful family. I really enjoy them (most of the time). My little sister is getting married in May so mercifully my mom has stopped making not-so-subtle comments about the fact that I have not yet produced a grandchild for her.
Eating healthy and staying in good shape is important to me, but not so important that I don't still love a Big Mac on occasion. I joined a gym recently and I'm pretty sure my trainer is trying to kill me. I'm noticing that I can jump a little higher in ballet class and carry more groceries inside in one trip than I used to, so I'd say it's going well.
I'm a pretty big nerd. I usually like my job and I want to always be learning new things. It's probably weird to say that I'm passionate about cancer - but it absolutely fascinates me. Perhaps because my days are spent heavily entrenched in science, I regularly day-dream about starting a girl band.
Really all I'm looking for is chemistry, and someone who can make me laugh. It wouldn't hurt if you had great taste in music, were passionate about something, and could appreciate my sometimes inappropriate sense of humor.
