I just moved to SF over the summer from Texas. I don't have a southern accent, but I do say "y'all". Hard habit to break! :) I am getting my master's and in 2 years I'll be beginning my PsyD. I'm training to be a child psychologist. I went to TCU and studied Communications and Spanish. No I wasn't in a sorority. Nothing good can come out of 30 women spending that much time together in close quarters. I love to travel. I've been all over the US and to Europe twice. I speak Spanish fluently and I'm learning Italian for fun. I love movies.. Going to the movie theater or curling up on the couch with a glass of wine and the Bourne Trilogy. My sister and I are constantly quoting movies. I know every line in Christmas Vacation. When the fall rolls around every Saturday I'm all about college football. Go Frogs!! I like occasional happy hours and going out with friends on a Saturday night. For the most part I steer away from drinking during the week and I'm getting tired of the same old bar scene on weekends. I'd love to be introduced to something new and off the grid. I am a very active person. I see a lot of people listing "biking, hiking and kayaking" as their hobbies. Texas has two temperatures: "hot as hell" and "cold as ...." Neither of which provides opportunity to bike, hike or kayak. Now that I'm in appropriate weather, I'd love to try all of the above and more. Bring it on. Health and fitness are really important to me. I am definitely not one of those girls who goes to the gym with a pound of makeup on my face and a bottle of hairspray in my hair. I'm there to get my sweat on. I'm pretty shy at first, but around my friends I'm the loudest in the group. I love to laugh and keep others laughing.. I'm a huge smart ass. Tears through laughter is my favorite emotion. A guy that can make me laugh is the biggest turn on. I have a pretty tough exterior, but inside I'm all mush. I am not looking for someone who is exactly like me. I want to be with someone who makes me want to be a better person, the best version of myself. I want to be that for my partner. After the honeymoon period wears off, and we have finally seen each other at our worst... that is when the real relationship starts. That part is my favorite. The days without makeup and date night might consist of hitting the gym and running errands in sweats together. It's when we know we like each other for just who we really are. Just us. That's what I'm looking for. I'm usually attracted to guys that are very worldly. Those that have actually gone out and seen what the world has to offer. I love hearing about people's experiences and dreaming up new ones to share together. I never want to run out of conversation. By the way, "worldly" does NOT mean you have 3 kids from 3 different baby mamas and your relationship status is "never married". Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Looks are not everything, but physical attraction is important to me. Physical attraction is what intrigues you before the person opens their mouth. However, if you have a picture of yourself in the mirror flexing your abs, move on dude... I am looking to find that person that I don't want to live without. random likes: sunny days by the pool, margaritas, a clean kitchen, organizing, hummus and carrots, froyo, celine dion, nfl ticket on my iPad, good photography, lazy sundays random dislikes: SF city smells, clutter, open cabinets, newspaper, close mindedness, arrogance, coconut, hairiness I don't think you can really gage "chemistry" through emails. So let's grab a drink sometime... What have we got to lose?
