Hi, and thanks for stopping to check out my profile. My name is Mike. I'm a native Atlantan, and although Atlanta is home, I really enjoy traveling around the country working on my hobby of nature and wildlife photography. I have a pretty demanding job in the area of corporate financial reporting and technical accounting, but make no mistake, I work to live; not the other way around! I may work long hours during the week sometimes, but I try to always keep my weekends free.
My brother and I both have day jobs, but have started a small, part-time business to sell fine art prints of our images, and are currently working on our website. I also try to balance things out with some of my other favorite pass times like cycling and hiking, staying fit, keeping my house fixed up and in good shape, and spending time with family and friends. I'm always up for a good movie or tv show too!
I would describe myself as a happy and content person with a strong sense of independence, but I love being around people, and particularly enjoy folks with a healthy sense of humor. There's not much I enjoy more than finding things to laugh about, and I love it when I can find other folks who are up for the journey! My job requires that I be serious most of the time, but I think life is too short to be too serious, so I like to keep things as light as possible! My friends have always described me as fun and easy to be around, and as someone that is hard to stay in a bad mood around for very long.
I decided a long time ago that I was going to be happy and enjoy life whether I found the right person to share it with or not, and that's worked out fine so far, but I believe it's important to always strive to make your life better if you can. I'd love to meet a lady that has a fun personality, a good sense of perspective on life, and with a shared or compatible faith to mine. Finding romance and all that goes with it are very important to me, but I also believe a strong friendship serves as the best foundation for all the rest. Finding someone with integrity, kindness, and empathy for others is also very important to me. In addition, I believe a shared sense of humor is really important for any couple to enjoy each other and to help weather life's ups and downs.
Bottom line - I'm very happy with my life now, but I'd love to find someone fun to spend time with and get to know, and if it's meant to turn into something more, I believe we'll both know that, and be able to figure out the details as we go.
