It's tough out there and all I'm looking for is to navigate this thing called life with my best friend...and have a boatload of fun while doing it. I get along easily with most personalities but for me, it's about finding a great partner-in-crime. Us vs. Them.
I'm very laid-back about most things except my work. I'm not high-maintenance so no, it does not take me hours to get ready in the morning. I only apply make-up for special occasions and I like my t-shirt and jeans! I love sci-fi and I'm a die-hard Joss Whedon fan. I recently picked up a compound bow and would really love to learn how to shoot more traditional styled bows. I don't run just for my health; I actually enjoy running. To me, it feels like a form of walking meditation. (It doesn't mean I'm good at it, it just means I like it!) I love all things nature and outdoorsy stuff - which is probably why I'm a biologist. I love to read fiction but rarely have time to do it. I'm a bit of a geek and have quirky tendencies but I just really like to smile and laugh...a lot. I also laugh when I'm nervous which sometimes make people think I'm laughing at them. But I swear, I'm not laughing at you, I'm laughing with you.
For what I'm looking for: I've always surprised myself at the personalities I tend to fall for. I don't have a particular type and I really do get along with most people. HOWEVER, I do need someone who will challenge me intellectually. It doesn't mean that you have to graduate from college or know a lot of stuff. You just need to be able to critically process information. Oh yea, and it doesn't hurt if you're charming, witty, handsome and one helluva cook. You know, all those things that all women like...I'm not an exception to that.
