Who liked the alliteration in my subject line??? I dislike writing/talking about myself, but here it goes: I have been in LA (on and off) for the last six years. I am originally from Ohio where I grew up on a farm. I have a job that I enjoy. I plan on attending an MBA program this fall and the biggest stress in my life at the moment is choosing between UCLA and Berkeley. I try to be honest and confident in most everything I do. I am known to have a sarcastic wit at times. Sometimes I like to be completely inappropriate when it's harmless. My demeanor is laid back, but I'm very passionate about certain things. When we fight, because all couples fight, I'll be the first to try and make up. I have a great family and am very close with them. I am a fiscal conservative and a social liberal. When I do something stupid I laugh at myself. I am a terrible speller. As for my humor, high brow and low brow comedy both make me laugh. If both South Park, and The Economist picture captions make you laugh, we will get along. Overall, I like who I am. Now that I am in my early 30's [deep sigh] I find that while I prefer staying in on a Saturday, cooking dinner, watching a good movie, and drinking a great bottle(s) of wine instead of checking out the newest club in Hollywood. I also love playing card games and board games (it'd be great if you did too). An ideal Saturday morning for me is sleeping in (I have a great bed), grabbing a great cup of coffee, making or going out for breakfast, reading the paper, and working on the crossword puzzle. I am incapable of doing the crossword puzzle by myself. Here are a few things I am looking for in a woman: You must be confident in yourself. You have to know what you like and what you want, and you can't be afraid to demand it if it's important to you. You have got a generally positive outlook. You're independent and would never define yourself by who you're dating. You are honest and can communicate how you feel. There are still some things you want to do for yourself. I'd like to find a woman who is equally comfortable at a dive bar as at a five star restaurant, at a museum as at a sporting event. I would like for us to challenge one another and to grow together. P.S. I try to respond to everyone, one way or another, however Match's email/messaging system often seems very buggy (maybe it's user error), so if I don't respond, my apologies; it is not intentional.
