This is not where I expected to be at my age. Didn't we all expect to have found the loves of our lives by now and be settled in the burbs with a dog and two kids? I sure did. But now I'm ready. I have a great life, an awesome job, and super friends - the only thing missing is a person with whom to share it. I am independent - I guess I've had to be - but I have days when I wish there was someone at home to take care of me.
So, what is my elusive partner like? He's smart, funny, and sensitive - not in the weepy way but he can read me, my moods, and my heart's desires. He likes to travel. He loves animals, especially dogs. He's not too old to go out and party now and again but is just as comfortable with nights at home with popcorn and movies.
