After spending the last 3 years in graduate school in New Haven, I have finally entered the "Real World" and am a now an upper east side resident! Although I am originally a Boston gal, I have always wanted to live in NYC, and now that most of my friends are living here, NYC just seemed like the next best place to reside (and let's face it...there's no better city!)
Traveling is extremely important to me. I jump at any chance to venture to a place I haven not been to before. I figure life is too short to spend most of your time in one place as the world has so many diverse places to offer! I am very spontaneous and will book a flight within days of departure if a friend out in San Francisco or over in Ireland tells me I should come for a visit.
I love all types of food (although I have pizza almost every day - and living in NYC is NOT helping with this!) and like to try out different restaurants.
Having fun and laughing. That is what I truly believe life is all about. I have an absurd sense of humor, which can kind of surprise people at first, but most people tend to enjoy or at least tolerate it ;-) . I love being silly and would love to find a laid-back guy who likes to crack a couple of inappropriate jokes as well. I LOVE comedies and watch an episode of either Family Guy or South Park each night.
While I do enjoy going out with friends, I have always taken my career and education very seriously. I believe that doing what you love is so incredibly important in life and I am very thankful that I have found a career that I really enjoy. I hope to find someone who is not only driven, but passionate about what they do (while still being able to have a good time of course ;-) )
