Hey Ladies (Beastie Boys)! Thank you for taking the time to look around. About me: I’m like Everyday people (Sly and the Family Stone), average height and build; I stay active, playing soccer and going to the gym. I spend most of time in the lab doing molecular biology, making DNA and trying to get proteins to stick together; it’s an interesting Discipline (King Crimson). So that also makes me kind of dorky (Obvious, Jane’s Addiction). It is interesting and dynamic and therefore rarely boring… hey at least it ain’t no Dead End Job (The Police). It is also a good job for my non-stop yet very non-linear mind (There is a Light That Never Goes Out, The Smiths) I grew up on the east coast, a beach kid from Wilmington NC. So yes, I’m a Southerner, but don’t worry I know Long Island Girls Rule (moe.) too. I decided I was Going to California (Led Zeppelin) when I got a great position after finishing my over-education. As you can probably tell I am a big music lover, I listen to music constantly, at home, at work and the car. I used to go to live shows all the time but have toned it down. I love the music but not the scene so much these days, I guess most of my partying days are in the past. It was a great way to see the country though; I have traveled to most states east of the Mississippi, Miami to Maine, seeing music. So why am I here? Unfortunately, I don’t get to meet many new people at the job and don’t seem to randomly meet new people all that much so here I am online. I don’t send out many emails and when I do contact a lady I have put some thought into it, hope you notice!
Obligatory about you statement: You like and/ or share common interests (but not all, that’s weird) are self-confidant enough to shut me up when I ramble and patient enough to ignore me when I do something stupid and insignificant.
