I am described by my closest friends as funny, thoughtful, and they laugh at my self-depricating humor. I am sensitive to the feelings of others, and I have a high level of empathy for those who have been persecuted, abused, and are suffering, and this definitely includes animals. I love to read, spend time in nature, and I love my job. I'm definitely more of a homebody, but am willing to venture out for the right person. I am a happy person, alone or with a partner. I am also independent. I am very artistic, I write short stories, poetry, and research papers. In a relationship, I am looking for a man who is loyal, trustworthy, responsible, affectionate, kind, thoughtful, funny, loves to laugh and be silly but also serious when the time calls for it. I am looking for a serious lover who can also be my friend.

convicted felons, liars, players, cranky bastards who never smile, cheaters, men who lack cleanliness, and dishonesty of any kind.
what I like in a man:
long hair or a great bald head (neither is a dealbreaker though :)
men who know what it means to be a man, are chivalrous, responsible, tender, and definitely not more manicured than myself. I like to feel safe in the arms of my man, and I find it hard to do when those arms are waxed :) I tend to gravitate to men who are the blue collar type. I certainly don't mind a man with rough hands :) But I am open to anything.
