Hi There. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I previously just had a list of some of the things that I like, but I have realized that I really am ready to find that special someone to spend my time with, and just having a list is not going to do that. I am still leaving it at the bottom though in order for you to know some of the things which I enjoy.
I am at a great point in my life. I have an amazing family who are all pretty much local, I have a great group of friends, I have an exhausting, but extremely rewarding job (4th grade teacher), I have the unconditional love of my sweetheart little kitty, and I am a happy person with no drama in my life. The only thing which would make my life feel more complete is to find that special someone to share it with.
I am born and raised in the SF Bay Area. I have moved away from here 3 times (once out of state), but have found my way back here each time. There is so much to love about this area: beaches, mountains, the city, forests, and that it's close enough to great places for a weekend getaway. Another thing that I love about the North Bay is that my family is here: parents, sister/husband, brother/wife, 2 nephews, and 2 nieces, all of whom I am very close with.
A little about myself...I am the kind of person who is just as happy to go out as I am to stay home with a good movie/book and my kitty. I'm not really into the whole bar scene anymore, but I do still go to them occasionally because I have many musician friends, and I love to watch and listen to them perform. I am very close with my family. My immediate family is all in Marin, which makes it very easy to be able to spend time with them. I am a die-hard Warriors fan (I know...it's hard!). I enjoy spending time with family and friends, cooking (though I don't do it often enough), curling up on the couch with a book or tv, spending time in the outdoors (don't we all?), and getting away to visit friends in Austin when possible (which is never enough!). I am a 4th grade teacher, and even though it is exhausting, I love the profession that I chose. I have my Masters in Education, as I have always wanted to be a teacher, and cannot picture myself doing anything else, but I did get my Bachelor's in business management just in case.....it's pretty tough to find teaching jobs right now, and I am very fortunate to have one.
I would like to meet someone who enjoys life and all that it has to offer, someone who enjoys going out, but who is also happy with nights spent in making dinners, watching movies, and cuddling on the couch. I love to laugh, and I'm hoping to find someone to make me laugh, and someone I can laugh with. I am also looking for someone who is honest and loyal.
