I enjoy movies, books, music and hanging out with friends but so do most people, right?
I tend to stay in my comfort zone when it comes to meeting new people. Same small group of friends, and occasionally I meet new people through them. However, having just moved to the Denver/Boulder area and not knowing anyone, I've decided that unless I take that step to meet people outside of my comfort zone, my life here will be pretty boring.
I?m a creative person and I enjoy working with my hands, whether it's making jewelry, drawing, building a bookshelf, working on a computer, or baking sugar cookies.
Even with all the new technology and video games out there, I still love playing board games with friends and family. Don't get me wrong, I have fun playing video games every once in a while, I just prefer to spend my time hanging out with actual people. I sit at a computer, staring at a screen all day long, the last thing I want to do in my free time is more of the same. Plus a little friendly competition between is a good thing.
I do enjoy the occasional night out, but prefer staying in. Large crowds and noisy atmospheres are really not my scene.
I try to find humor in everything and I tend to laugh at myself a lot. Life is just too short not to. There will always be a silly side to me. There is just something about playing arcade games, swinging at a park, dancing around the living room or just being silly that brings a smile to my soul. Plus, I'm a bit of a clutz. So it's a given that there will be some kind of tripping, falling, slipping in my future. I've come to think of it as my way of bringing laughter into other peoples? lives. It usually brings some pain into mine, but laughter nonetheless.
I'm at the point in my life where I would like to settle down and hopefully start a family, if I met the right guy. I'm looking for someone that has a sense of humor, that is honest and that is willing to take the time to get to know me. I can be shy when meeting new people, but once I feel comfortable around them, I'm much more outgoing. I also want someone that doesn't mind being silly with me every once and a while.
I'm honest, smart, trustworthy and fun. Just a simple girl, that enjoys life and all that it has to offer.
