Hey Columbus- back and ready for my next adventure! I'm a young professional and just returned from a year in Toronto working in finance at my company's Canadian headquarters. It's good to be back stateside, I'm having a great time reconnecting with old friends and meeting new ones.
About me: Love to laugh and have fun. I'm all about going with the flow and just jumping right in to any new experience (i.e., moving to Toronto without knowing a soul). I'm also all about balance - definitely a work hard/play hard type. I love my job, and I'm a career-oriented "go-getter". Got my CPA earlier this year and now thinking about business school.. for me it's all about challenging myself and having fun along the way.
My friends and family mean the world to me, I like to surround myself with smart, motivated, successful people who know how to have a good time. I love FUNNY people - If you make me laugh, chances are we're going to be friends. I'm a big fan of inside jokes, sarcasm, and laughing at things others might find inappropriate. It takes a lot to offend me. Think Chelsea Handler- hilarious and out there, but would do anything for the people she cares about. If my college crew was 'the gang' from Always Sunny, I'd definitely be Sweet Dee. Just rolling with the punches and dealing with being the butt of a joke here and there.
I love traveling, trying new restaurants and bars, playing and watching sports (volleyball competitively most of my life), and a good beer or glass of wine and conversation. I'm usually a go-go-go type, but love a good sloth day here and there just rotting on the couch watching tv.
This whole 'online dating' thing gets a weird rep sometimes, but I tried it when I was new to a big city and found it to be a great way to meet legit, interesting people. Hoping the same goes for Cbus.. cheers!
