A few things about me. I work in San Francisco as a Social Worker/Service Coordinator helping the elderly, disabled, and mentally challenged get the services they need. I am also finishing up my masters in Gerontology. I have an undergraduate degree in Psychology and love to learn about people and their behaviors. I am emotionally stable and independent. I am looking for a partner to enrich my life and have fun with. Communication is key in the success for any relationship. I am also very active and love to run and I do a boot camp class a few times a week.
I have a busy schedule and don't have many opportunities to meet men--hence the reason I am on this site. Obviously, looks are the initial attraction, but personality, intelligence, and chemistry are also very important--if not more. I tend to prefer men that are taller so if you are shorter that 5'10, it probably won't work. I work hard, have goals, and I feel this is important in life.
I prefer someone to take the initiative with that being said, I don't want someone controlling or abusive, but I respect a man who knows what he wants and goes for it. This may sound contradictory, but I also want a man that is affectionate, caring, and thoughtful. Balance is key. I also would like someone who knows how to let go and have fun, but would also enjoy staying in and watching a movie. Communication is also very important. I love a man that is strong yet nurturing and compassionate. I love, kissing, touching, and affection. I think that's a good start.
I am a vegetarian and a bit of a foodie too. I enjoy going to farmers markets and off the grid at various locations around the bay. I'm also very active and work out almost everyday.
I love to travel. I've been backpacking in Europe, volunteered internationally in Costa Rica, explored Brazil, Mexico, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, and several states including Hawaii and Alaska. My latest trip was Guatemala in January.
