Essay:
I grew up in the caribbean and I suppose there's a lot that could be said to that - however, I like to think that through the years and various experiences, I've managed to gain some insight and openness to other views, cultures, personalities, you name it. I tend to fight for what I believe. When it comes to my career, I would admit to making many mistakes in the relatively short period I've got under my belt but I believe that in sticking to my core values, I've learned enough to improve each time. Some of the bigger lessons which most may take for granted: you have to stand up and believe in yourself, it is your duty to stand up for those around you, give credit where credit is due, speak less... listen more! I apply those values (or at least try to) just about everywhere in my life. I'm christian. I believe God exists. I also believe everyone has to right to their own belief. But it's not cool to be a hypocrite. It's easy to lie to yourself, we all do it from time to time. Still, we are all capable of seeing past those words we echo in our minds. Who I'm looking for: Above all, I would love someone who can successfully bring balance to their life. Intelligence with a hint of practicality, tough as nails yet willing to open up their heart. Someone who's got values and morals, isn't afraid of standing up for what's right... integrity. She is passionate about her craft but more so about those she loves.
