i am a single father of a wonderful 17 year old daughter. she is in her last semester of highschool and looking forward. while bringing her up i have somewhat put my life on hold as far as personel relationships, i haven't wanted to let my excapades have any effect on her.
i have somewhat of a crazy life anyway, i live in the desert and i work by the ocean. i have the opportunity to enjoy going to work and spending time in a phenominal environment and then i look forward to going home to a different but equally nice space. i have been in the landscape industry for my adult life, and being able to have space, that is prohibitive at the beach. i've created an environment to where i can't even see my neighbors or hear them.
i enjoy the simple things in life, but also strive for the more complex to challenge my mind. a slow ride through the desert in my jeep and enjoying the wildflowers is very relaxing and enjoyable. i'm also ready for a road trip at the drop of a hat. a weekend in montana is great, or a drive up the coast. i have some property at a lake in the paso robles area and when the lake is up i enjoy going up there and camping for a long weekend the place is spectacular. i hope to someday build a house up there for the days when when relaxing is more preferable. i also like to drive around the area to look for property to eventually settle into. i have been to the napa area and was enthralled with the area, but agast at the prices. i think the central coast area is going to be similar to the napa area when the wineries mature and gain popularity. i have been looking for a ranch and have even thought of having vineyards and trying my hand at winemaking. we all need to dream.
i also like to find the little funky restaurants anywere especially good mexican food or some good fish and chips especially brofy's at the beach in santa barbara.
unfortunately i have a bunch of pet peaves and for the most part they involve stupid people, liars,and theifs. at this point it would be a good time to include that i'm politically conservative, enough said.
i enjoy getting together with friends, i like to cook and a few cocktails are a good way to unwind. i don't perticularly like to go out to bars or deal with that whole scene, although there are exceptions. good entertainment, an occasional comedy club or maybe a couple games of pool.
i'm looking for an individual that is confident,insouciant, cognizant, attractive and self assured. i enjoy good stimulating conversation or just some silly rantings. although i don't provoke it i think jealousy is possibly the most destructive emotion a person can have. honesty and integrety are good qualities, as well as the ability to dream and try to make those dreams come true. i don't think there is anything wrong with some quiet time also. do you like to just pack a lunch get in the car and see where we wind up. i enjoy the beauty of our environment wether it be the beach, the desert, the mountains or some little corner that we think we are the only ones that know about.
