I grew up in Southern California, where my closest friends and parents still reside. My older brother and his family currently live in Omaha, and I enjoy visiting them when I can. I recently switched from being a general education teacher to a special education teacher here in San Francisco. I’m enjoying the challenges teaching students with special needs. I am a huge football fan—my college teams are CAL (Go Bears!) and Michigan (Go Blue!) and my NFL team is of course the Chargers. I also have CAL season football tickets. I surround myself with goal-oriented and inspiring people and I am filled with tons of energy and I love to laugh a lot. I am also very active- I was a swimmer growing up, I love to ski, and I am trying to get into running. When time permits I enjoy traveling locally and around the world. People say that I am funny, outgoing, respectful, and that I can make friends easily.
