About me...
I'm generally quiet but when I like someone I can go on and on. I'm ambitious and persistent when I set out to accomplish something. I'm hard working, honest and fair. I'm sensitive, kind and affectionate.
I have two young kiddos and I try to spend as much time with them as possible. When they stay with me we like to get out of the house and look for fun things we can do together and with friends. I've also been trying to do things with them which give all of us some exercise! I've found that there is no greater reward in my life than teaching my children a new skill.
I've recently rediscovered how vital exercise is to my over all well being. Though fitting it in is a challenge, I've really enjoyed starting to get back in shape. When I'm feeling unfocussed I know it's time to get out and get my body moving! I've also found that it's a much more rewarding way to make new friends than going to bars (though I still do love going out). I really look forward to going mountain biking, walking, rollerblading, etc., with friends.
My job in the field of architecture and construction can be extremely demanding at times. It is something that I love and am great at though so I'm pretty devoted to it. Working with contractors to build my projects is an incredible experience. When a job is complete and it's time for the owner to move in I often hate to let the building go, ha ha.
At home, I really love working with my hands and enjoy fixing or building new projects around the house. I also like to cook. Probably mostly on the grill but I'm not a stranger in the kitchen. I love seafood and often in the summer I'll cook a big boiling pot with shrimp for friends.
I want to meet someone who really will enjoy doing things together. Whether that be going out socializing with friends sometimes, spending time at home alone sometimes, going for walks, whatever. She should be willing to talk, listen, be affectionate and caring. Needless to say, she should be willing to share time with my kids. I won't try to get more specific than that because if I've learned anything in life it's that the kind of person you think you are looking for is rarely who you fall in love with.
