ABOUT ME
I'm relatively new to the Southeastern Wisconsin-Northeastern Illinois region, as I moved here from my hometown area in Seattle Washington last April, 2012. A big part of my reason for relocating here was to help my daughter to also move from Seattle to Chicago, where she has a great job in the city.
I first discovered the beauty and charm of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, back in 2002 while visiting my daughter (when she previously lived in Chicago). And now, some ten years later, I am renting a modest little apartment in Lake Geneva while I take some time to become better acquainted with this part of the country, from Chicago to Milwaukee, and the surrounding cities and towns. (While always keeping my options open to relocate for that ever-elusive "quality" relationship opportunity.)
I am easy going, very comfortable with the quality of person I have become (while far from perfect, and still growing and evolving), refined in my inner life, intelligent, articulate, kind, warm, caring, affectionate, romantic, nurturing, supportive, loyal, an excellent communicator, and fun to be with, with a playful and humorous side. (And I can prove it! ;-)
I have devoted a great deal of my life to my personal growth and development. I have always had a fascination with the deeper questions about life, about what it is and what it means to be human. And I am formally educated in the area of human growth and potential.
I have earned a living working in a variety of management positions in the retail, restaurant, and hospitality industries while getting my formal education in my thirties and forties, and while researching and writing two books on personal development over the past several years.
I have lived a very interesting and adventurous life. I grew up in Seattle and have lived in Washington State most of my life. But over the years I have also lived in Southern California (in my early 20's, for the beach and young adult fun), Southern Illinois (three times, to live near my daughter), Georgia (for graduate school), Arizona (to write a book), and Southern Oregon (for a summer long health and rejuvination retreat). From 2007 to 2010 I lived amidst the spectacular red rock canyons of Sedona Arizona for three very exciting and highly productive years. While there I researched and wrote my latest book, Adventures In Authenticity (available online). And now my adventurous spirit has landed me in this beautiful resort area of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
I am currently working in the hospitality industry in the Lake Geneva area, while also considering a variety of other opportunities and possibilities for my future.
WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR
IMPORTANT NOTE: I am solely interested in establishing an extraordinary, exclusive, and monogomous relationship wth ONE woman. One woman who is completely free of other involvements with other men (almost impossible to find on here, I know). So, if you have other interests and/or involvements, if you are just shopping for dates on here or you feel that you need to meet a variety of men to figure out what you want, or you are dating one or more people while you continue to search for your Mr. Right, I wish you the best in your match search. But it is important that you know in advance that you are not the one for me. I'm not being cruel. I'm just being honest.
My ideal match would consist of a situation whereby my match and I absolutely love being with one another, regardless of where we go, what we do, or what topic we discuss. I want a relationship that is built upon a foundation of true friendship and deep intimacy. So, if this is what you are looking for, you will find this with me :-)
I am not interested in serial daters. I am interested in establishing an extraordinary long term relationship with someone who wants that too. I am a one-woman-man kind of guy, and I am worthy of getting your full attention in return ;-)
