I look for the fun in any situation and try to enjoy life. I have a dry and somewhat silly sense of humor but can take it as well as I can dish it. This weird world we live in leaves me endlessly curious and new people and experiences fascinate me. I've lived and worked all over the place, including for several years in Europe (Dublin and Paris), but San Francisco is the place I want to be right now.
I get outdoors and out of the city as much as possible to camp, hike, climb, ride horses, or ski, but that said, my job is to design and build cities, so I guess I'm drawn to the extremes. I used to work in documentary films, since grad school I've been working in sustainable real estate development. I really love what I do. When not working, which is as much as I can get away with, I seem to be always busy eating, getting into trouble, people watching, exploring, hiking, rock climbing, running, riding, dive bar-ing, yoga-ing, tennis-ing, or hopefully waking up in the woods or a meadow.
A total animal nut, I recently found the perfect puppy. Unfortunately, someone else thought he belonged to them. That, however, did not stop me from chatting up his owner while referring to "my puppy," which, perhaps, might have weirded her out just a wee little bit.
Be smart and really interested in something, whatever it might be. Like to travel, be outdoors, and camp. Be kind to anyone in a service industry, small children, and animals. I worked as a waitress during school and abroad - there's no better way to tell someone's character. Be fun.
