Well here goes a bit about me.... I guess I can say I'm kinda, funny-silly, confident, playful, emotionally, physically and financially secure. I'm now the big 5...0... but i can tell you i don't feel, act or look it...Actually i believe that it really says a lot when we get past our 40's in that the less you look your age the better it gets.....I think it speaks volumes on how we all age....gracefully not haste-fully....
I'm full blooded American/ Italian...Grandparents from Sicily...and i can make a mean marinara too:) I grew up in NY with two brothers I'm the oldest, mom and dad still healthy, happy and together!
I'm very even tempered, reliable as well as quite the optimist; the glass is really half full.. I have had 1 long term relationship in my life and not shy about moving forward in any way....I have a career in which I've been in the same industry for most of my life and very much enjoy. I live my life to the fullest....Enjoy every day like its my last... I am looking for the same or similar and a bonus would be some or all of these; spontaneous, passionate, enjoys life and makes the best of every day, loves to travel...the beach...Europe (someday)... Oh....and if a pair of shoes or two can erase a bad day then lots is more:)
I am particular (as we all are....right...) in what I'm attracted to and believe that beauty is so much more than just what we can merely see on the with our eyes but don't get me wrong, being in shape is all good for body, mind and soul. right.....besides you have to a least get away from me chasing you around the kitchen table every morning some of the time:) I believe that a man has a role that he must abide and enjoy not as a duty but a passion for growth in every relationship, whether its our children, lover or close friendships . I also believe that none of us can make anyone else happy if we're not first happy with oneself first! My mother taught me about respect, courtesy, good manners, and how a woman should be treated whether in friendships or romantic relationships and let us not forget about the passion; for all things that we do....some people just don't have it...i get it...i do!
I place a high value on depth of character, integrity, and honesty. I believe that you get self-esteem by doing esteem able deeds and try to do at least one every day. I'm big on chemistry "either you got it or you don't" . I like to say that i know within about 5 minutes or 5 seconds :) whether there is a connection and my guess is you will too.

On a final note...ive been single now for a bit over two years and dated on and off for most of that time I can say with confidence i love dating but with just one woman that is....for the rest/best of my life...If we can all be honest here and admit that this 50 first dates thing really does seem to have had run its course....The real judgment day is when someone makes a movie out of this ...match.com dating....Soooo many stories im sure we all have a few to share don't we:)
