About me:
I'm a risk taker, an entrepreneur, a rule-breaker.
My brother taught me the joys of New York's dive bars and brown bagging on the subway. (I like the Mandarin Oriental too.)
I'm a red wine, GT and Scotch guy. Prefer savory to sweet.
Cycling addict. I cycle everywhere I can. I have 3 bikes. (unnecessary, but each has its special use!)
I'm a total morning person: but I have been known to party past my bed time.
Enjoy throwing dinner parties...I make a mean slow roasted pork...and love cooking Indian (lived in South India for a while)
I read the Financial Times -- pretty obsessed with wines, Mahler, the smells of grass, oceans, wet forest floors.
I feel at home in nature -- New York is hard for me...hence I cycle. At least it's "outside" if not "outdoorsy".
Many of my favorite memories involve Tuscan wine.
I work in global health and love it. I have lived in or visited dozens of countries; and I travel internationally about once every couple months for work. I write alot and present at conferences for work -- it feels an honor to know that people care what I think.
I'm a stereotype: I love my vitamix.
Generally, I'm looking for a guy who...
...is curious, creative, actively shaping his place in this world
...is masculine -- sporty even?
...is empathetic
...is romantically on the active side of things
...has a quick smile
...has a quiet confidence
...enjoys spontaneity and being challenged
...loves the outdoors
...likes sharing / doesn't keep score of every thing given/received
Would love to hear from you.
