I get the feeling that these things pretty much all sound the same after reading a few. Everyone says that they are funny and smart and have a great personality. And that their match is smart but not too smart, confident but not arrogant, etc., etc. I mean, who's going to say that they are boring and socially awkward and that they are looking for someone who rode the short bus to school?
I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, went to college/med school in Baltimore and Washington DC and now am living in LA. I think I'm fairly knowledgeable about a lot of things and try to keep up with current events. I'm also pretty active. I love to play and watch sports. I'm trying to get back into playing golf and I'm currently training for a triathlon. Coming from SF, I'm a huge foodie. I enjoy checking out museums, live music, wine tasting, traveling...the list is endless. I've been in LA for a little while now, and though most of that was spent working in a hospital, now my hours are much more flexible. With all the new free time, I'd like to meet more people (almost everyone I know in LA works at the hospital also) and check out what LA has to offer.
I'd love to meet someone who really sparks my interest, but I wouldn't be disappointed if I just met some fun people who I can hang out with. Oh yeah, I almost forgot that I'm obligated to say that I'm smart, funny, and confident, but not arrogant.
