I just moved to Denver to work in education. Or rather, I got a new job where I can work from anywhere, and Denver ended up on the top of my list. I'm excited about exploring this new city, and I'm hoping to find someone who likes politics, board games, good food, (and bars), finding new music, traveling, etc. etc.
I'm from a small town in Michigan, I taught in rural Louisiana and have lived in D.C., Phoenix and Amman. I'm afraid of heights and I love water, so I'm not really sure what I'm doing in the mountains, but we'll see how it goes.
I'm looking for someone who will make me laugh and can see the fun in life. I'm a little geeky; I love cooking and bonfires, reading and porch drinking; I read good books, watch bad TV and listen to too much NPR. Lake Michigan is my favorite place in the world, the screen porch at Turnrow Books in Mississippi is my second fav, and the third is up for debate.
I also hate writing cheesy things about myself, so I think I'll stop here before I do any more damage...
