I’m a goofball. When I’m bored at work, I throw pennies at the back of my colleagues’ heads and disturb papers on people’s desks for sh*ts and giggles.
I like baked goods. Don’t want to be a fatty though – so I balance my pastry habit with intense cycling and cardio.
I’m not into sports but I’m good enough at feigning interest when I need to (that should count for something).
I work a lot and it can be hard to meet new people. That’s why I’m here.
I never drank or cursed growing up. Then I foolishly pursued a career in finance in NYC and now I have “happy days” instead of “happy hours” and curse a bit too much at times. I'm working on that. :-)
Really blatant/bad grammatical errors kind of turn me off. Abbreviations/shorthand or occasional misspelling is fine – but multiple errors make me question whether you read well. And everyone knows reading is fundamental, so… (This is my only obnoxious quality. Promise.)
**Important Compatibility Test** - A friend is running in your direction to greet you and trips and falls. Do you (a) immediately ask if he/she is okay, (b) laugh hysterically, or (c) laugh hysterically while asking if they're okay?
If you answered (a) you might be too dry/stiff/boring for me, if you answered (b) you might be too much of a jerk for me, if you answered (c) we’d probably get along just fine – please shoot me a note! :-)
