So about me, there is no easy way to start this so here we go. First and foremost, I am fairly new to the DC area, I have been in the area for about 8 months and I am enjoying DC quite a bit. I am an adventure seeker so I enjoy exploring new neighborhoods and trying new activities. I am from Northern California, the Bay Area.
I am a lover of the arts and culture scene. I am steadily making my rounds through all the Smithsonian museums, I gravitate towards live music, concerts, plays and open mic. Creative expression is so inspiring to me, it represents individuality and freedom. Groupthink is so prevalent in society, I get excited to see individuality or someone expressing a minority view. We as people are not meant to blend in with each other, we all have talents and skills to stand out and be noticed.
Traveling is also essential, when I travel I refuse to do all the tourist traps. I like to experience a new city with advice from natives and self-exploration. Best trip to date, I went to Dakar, Senegal in June for a week and packed it in,,,, amazing.But, I do have a very chill side to me. I have been an avid reader since I was young so a good book and a mug of green tea is also just as fulfilling.
Intellect is incredibly sexy to me, teach me something. :) I would like to meet someone who is intelligent, fun loving, adventurous and open to trying new things. Fitness is important to me so a man who likes to exercise is important. Volunteerism and being active in the community is important to me so a guy who is also passionate about that is an added bonus.
