About me...well, I suppose it's easier to share how my friends would describe me than to explain how I see myself. I've been told I'm funny, smart, adventurous, chatty, a bit sassy, outgoing, personable, loyal, honest and FUN. I'm ambitious and hardworking...with boundaries. I'm social, but really appreciate solitude as well. I don't want to be the center of attention, but I'm hardly a wallflower. Yes, I have a little black dress, or two. And many pairs of jeans. And, even more pairs of flip flops! I have one of the sweetest dogs ever! 85 lbs of love! Of course, I may be biased. I can't function without my morning coffee. Well...I can, but I really prefer not to. I've climbed a few 14ers and plan on doing at least one each summer. No, it's not just the elevation, but the overall sense of accomplishment it brings. The views aren't bad either. All-you-can-eat sushi is one of my favorite challenges. Okay, that may not entirely summarize me, but it's a great start.
I would love to meet someone open-minded and adventurous. I'm not one to bungy jump or play extreme sports - to say the least. But, I do love new experiences and staying active. A passion for travel is an absolute must. In the past few years I've visited China, Costa Rica, Austria, Germany, and the Atlantic coast of Canada. My most recent travels were to Belize and Guatemala. Next, I'm heading on a sailing trip around the British Virgin Islands. While my friends are great to travel with, I'm ready for a true partner in crime. Someone who is also curious about the world around them, has the time and money to travel and has many diverse interests. I get that everyone in Colorado wants to experience "all it has to offer", but what else interests you beyond mountain biking, skiing, or rock climbing?
My match has to have a fantastic sense of humor. That's a big one for everyone, I know. But you gotta be quick to keep up with me. Honesty and integrity are on the top of the list, too. As well as a positive outlook. Life isn't always easy, but your attitude and perspective carry a ton of weight, and say a lot about who you are. Kindness and compassion mean a lot to me - someone who has an overall interest in more than themselves. I think it's important to give back, even in small doses. Donating blood regularly counts....even if it is just for the ice cream sandwiches.
