I am originally from NY, but moved to St. Augustine a few years ago for grad school...after adamantly saying I would never live in FL, low and behold I'm still down here. Recently, I moved closer to Jax for work at a hospital downtown as an Occupational Therapist...I love what I do and am fortunate to have found my career niche...but nope, I don't help people get jobs (feel free to ask or just google it!).
I love good people, good music, and having fun--to be vague. I grew up spending summers in the Adirondacks, going out on boats, fishing and camping...so I'm always down for that; but I also like to lounge around and relax. I love being outside, day or night, even though I'm a bit scared of the dark. I have a ridiculously small family but we are very close (even though i am the lone soldier who moved to the south), and when we get together it is pure entertainment.
I am a huge animal lover, and last year I impulsively adopted a kitten, in the midst of my searching for a puppy to adopt (which I will get to sooner rather than later!). I sometimes spend 99.9% of the day laughing, and I have a sarcastic/witty sense of humor, and I'm also a bit of a goofball, but in general, quite entertaining (so I'm told)...I've always been on the creative/ecclectic side (I have some macgyver tendencies too, and can usually "rig" things up with random objects), occasionally quirky, sometimes artistic.
I'm not a fan of drama, and try to stay far away from it. I am very laid back, but confident and open-minded. I love traveling, spontaneity, and trying new things. I have been fortunate enough to study abroad in Europe, and did some traveling there (not nearly enough!), but there are still so many more places in the world in the US that I would love to go to! I usually prefer going to dive bars, hole-in-the-wall places with chill, live music and funky beverages. I really enjoy going to concerts/festivals, even if it involves a road trip! I'm always down for an adventure, even if it involves the flip of a coin to determine :)
