I was born in Decatur, raised in Virginia, educated in the Northeast, and spent a number of years in California. Now, somewhat unexpectedly and perhaps serendipitously, I've found myself back where I began, in Atlanta. I'm just beginning to reacquaint myself with the city, and I'm very happy to be living here again. I'm a career-changer -- worked in film, TV, and journalism in Los Angeles, before going back to med school in my late 30s. I came to Atlanta for residency. I'm hoping to meet new people, and welcome any tips on must-see, must-do things in Atlanta...
Things I'm good at, in no particular order:
-Comparing the subtle nuances of the problematic traffic situations in Atlanta vs Los Angeles
-Remembering lyrics to esoteric pop songs that perhaps would best be forgotten
-Appearing to be an alert, cognizant person on 1/2 hour of sleep
