I am a fun, intelligent, and down to earth person who can be playful and witty, but also thoughtful and pensive. I enjoy laughing and finding the humor in life. I like being outdoors, hiking trails, running, or biking, but my real passions are tennis and children. I love to spend time on the tennis courts, whether it’s battling it out with an opponent or just having a friendly hit-around. I also love to be around children. I conduct research in early childhood education, which allows me to study some of the cutest kids in the world! I cherish my family and friends and love to spend time with them, especially my two nephews (5 and 8) who absolutely light up a day. I love the time I spend shooting hoops, throwing baseball, or just running around with them.
I consider my tastes eclectic. I enjoy a wide variety of entertainment including everything from watching some good political satire, to spending a night at the theater, to curling up on the couch with a classic film. You may also find me taking in some live music, painting, or reading a book. I also have a passion for learning, especially about history, so I enjoy documentaries and books that capture the past.
I am responsible and independent, honest and trustworthy, caring and sensitive, and always straightforward. These are qualities I value and hope to find in a man. I would like to meet a person who knows the importance of friendship and genuinely enjoying one another’s company.
