I'm pretty shy and quiet till I get to know someone better, then I can open up and joke and laugh. I consider myself to be pretty calm and level-headed with a good dose of common sense thrown in, an often rare trait these days! I am not pretentious and am happy with the small things in life. I have a few rock-solid friends who would probably describe me as serious and hardworking but likes to relax also. I generally steer clear of boisterous people and crowds, unless I'm going to a specific event. I take my job seriously but do look forward to weekends and vacation time, hopefully with someone special. I would love to travel more but for now enjoy daytripping and planning the occassional week-long trip. I am a perfectionist at a lot of things which sometimes bogs me down, but a good push now and then gets me over the top, or I compromise. I'm quite handy around the house and enjoy a well kept yard. I appreciate art, old architecture, most music, ethnic foods, my health, etc.... I'm not that into sports but enjoy volleyball, billiards, badminton, ping pong, throwing a baseball, frisbee, and cycling, and will watch Olympics, skating, Stanley cup playoffs, occassional boxing (ouch!)... One thing I'm NOT into is the latest gadgets, or electronics as permanent appendages. My special girl/partner would enjoy the outdoors (to a point), enjoy trying new foods of different cultures, and not feel the need to always keep up with the latest fashions but dress tastefully (jeans and dressy casual are just fine!), Snuggling, holding hands, special touches, hugging, and definitely kissing would be worthy attributes! (Please, if you are going to stop emailing, at least be respectful enough to say so.)
