My passion in life is traveling and my career. I've been fortunate to experience the world in unusual ways from riding an elephant and holding on for dear life in Thailand to visiting a sangoma aka medicine doctor in South Africa or learning tango in Argentina. Countless adventures for random storytelling over a glass of wine.
I am not a "conventional" type of person. I enjoy salsa dancing, listening to ethnic music, going to the theatre and debating topical issues. Anything that is artistic I'd enjoy although I do love just hanging out and watching movies and tv too.
I'm looking for someone who makes me laugh -- whether they are being cynical or slightly goofy. I do need to feel attracted to someone both physically and mentally. And, I must say, there is nothing better than a man who wears great shoes! Being globally minded, sophisticated and has a love for travel is also important to me. I also need to be with someone who respects my independence and achievements.
I'm very much a city person so I would like to date someone who also lives in NYC. I'm at a time in my life that I'm excited to meet new people and just take it a day at a time. Thanks!
