I am a free spirit. A good West Texas girl, funny, smart and loyal. I am grateful to still have friends I grew up with and a family to love. I absolutely love music and it would be good to meet someone who wants to just kick back and listen, hit some festivals, see local color, and have fun. I am as comfortable in a 5 star restaurant as I am in a dive. I don't judge, treat others with respect, and believe in those who believe in themselves. My dad taught the valuable lesson that my word and handshake were sacred. He was right. I expect the same. I love to cook, spend time with friends (new and old), family, go out and have fun, stay in and have fun, watch sports, be a tomboy, be a girl, read a book, or watch a movie. I am up for new experiences and I will sit out at that deer lease with ya, but I expect you to suffer through the shoe department in reciprocity.
I have been a serious academic for the better part (or not) of my life. I'm ready to do what I enjoy for a living, meet a good man who appreciates who I am and live this life. Two is better than one, isn't that why we are here??
Who am I looking for? I want to meet my match. When people say that I define that to mean much more than "like you he likes politics too" or "like you he has blue eyes". Really??? When you meet your match they complement you, know your faults and love you in spite of them or for them, speak your language, appreciate what you do and why you do it, want the best for you, forget what the fight was about 10 minutes later, defend you, trust you, adore you and would rather be with you than anywhere else. And sometimes, they are smarter, faster, stronger....but in matters of the heart, you are equals. That's how I believe and treat my partner and I want the same. Maybe that's asking to much from a computer generated cupid, but we will see. Good luck to you guys if you read this far. Btw, glancing at a couple of photos does you no justice in this game. I don't know about you but I am far cuter in person. Finally, don't discount a girl because she is 500 miles away. Some of us are mobile. As are some of you.
