Lots of stuff going on this year. . . went on a single's cruise to the Caribbean, (highly recommend. . .the people were so friendly and welcoming. . . Check out Vacations To Go. . . you will not regret it!) daughter got married, and got a new horse. . . A few other additions and losses, as well. . . All part of the crazy thing we call life.
I've been back on here for a couple of months and , as always, am really impressed with how sincerely people are in trying to find that someone special. Here's what I think about it all. . . I hate to start off with a negative but here it goes. . . I DO NOT believe in soul mates or that there is that ONE person in the whole world made especially for me. . . I think that timing and geography and circumstances have quite a bit to do with finding that special person. I DO believe in great love and passion and being best friends and chemistry (that's a BIGGIE. . . maybe the BIGGEST) and shared values and trust and honesty, loyalty and commitment. I believe you have to be willing to open your heart, take the risk, tear down those walls of fear and let love happen. This is not Disney or Hollywood. . . Reality is better because it's sharing and caring and growing and laughing and worship and struggles and it's hard and it's work and, when it's all said and done, you know you've made a LIFE TOGETHER.

I am a busy, active woman who likes music, riding horses, dancing, being outside, travel, laughing and hanging out with my friends and family. I like to think I'm witty, smart, and interesting. . . my friends and family think I'm quirky, irreverent and opinionated. The truth lies somewhere in the middle, I think.
I have done a lot of interesting things; Endurance riding, running a marathon, raising 4 children, riding and camping for 5 days in the Sangre Cristo Mountains with 2 guides and 4 other guests, went to my first Notre Dame football game last year and would like to make it to a couple games a year here on end, and bought my first motorcycle.
I guess the men I would be interested in would share similar interests in sports (football), the outside, ideals, be socially liberal though fiscally Conservative, be physically active, have a good sense of humor without being mean, like animals, children, grilling out, live music, playing pool, badminton, bonfires, the beach, mountains, good beer, decent wine, sushi. . .
