Just like at least half the people on here, I can't believe that I'm on here. A few friends have had some luck here, though, and even more have had a few hilarious stories so, at this point, I'll take a shot.
I'm an attorney by profession and I love my work. I spent the first six years of my career doing my own, personal "Law and Order" impersonation and have recently switched over to private practice and civil work. I miss being in a courtroom every day but I like the intellectual challenge that my new job brings me.
I try to make the most of my free time. I get to the beach every weekend of the summer and love the smell of the ocean. I play golf. I see live music at every opportunity. I love to travel. I like a good dive bar with a jukebox much more than a dressed up lounge, but don't mind spending time in either. A dance club, on the other hand? No thanks. I'm starting to prefer big, fun, wine filled dinners at great restaurants with friends to any bar, though. I cook, I clean, and I go to the gym. I'm a voracious reader and am trying to learn a second language.
I'm a Mets season ticket holder and a die hard Notre Dame football fan. Let's just say that the last couple of years haven't been fun, but I love my teams regardless!
I am not here to find someone to complete me. I don't buy into the concept of completion. I do, however, buy into the concept of companionship and that's exactly what I'm looking for: a companion. Someone that works hard, plays hard, has drive and ambition in their career, and knows what it means to relax in their down-time. Someone who treats life in a proactive rather than reactive way, and treats every day like an adventure. Basically, someone who "gets it". If you like what you see or hear, drop me a line.
