I keep telling myself that I should write an awesome "about me" section. Something that captures who I am and the kind of person I'm looking for.... Then after the first 3 words it's like I start to write my resume and a list of my accomplishments.
This is my attempt at being genuine:
Much like james vanderbeek, I'm an enigma. I dress gq for work, but love to rock a flat bill and fall off dirt bikes. I have a closet canadian accent that comes out when I drink or get around other canadians and I can't stand people who use sayings like "yolo," or "living life to the fullest." I take a lot of pride in fixing things and take "before" and "after" pics so I can show my dad when he visits. My mom is super tall, my dad is short and italian and I have a sister that is born on exactly the same day as I am (7 years and 6 mins apart).
I have the best job ever and my coworkers are like family to me. I am fortunate to be in an awesome industry, with awesome people and since I've started with this company, it's like every day just keeps getting better and better. It's sporadic, it's busy and sometimes involves crazy amounts of driving but there isn't anything else I can picture myself doing.
The awesome job did take me out of sd for about a year, and after what seems like forever I'm back home, literally in the same building I lived in before. Since college I have never lived more than a block from the beach and with any luck I won't have to leave ever again.
Okay... your turn...
