As so many on this site, I fall in the camp of being well traveled and enjoying the finer things. That being said, I have more than a checklist - I see each trip and meal as an experience, which is very much driven by the company I keep. I stopped partying like a rock star, but haven’t lost my desire to keep the party going - it just comes in different forms these days, such as a trip to Aspen for a food and wine festival or a picnic in the park with friends.
Intellectual conversation is important and so is good laugh (even if we are laughing at me…not uncommon I might add). I am always seeking out new experiences, so much so that I moved to London a few years back to explore the European life for a while. I will never object to moving there again and I am certainly am up for visiting…frequently. Back home, I make a point of “getting out there,” going to shows, concerts at Carnegie (I even sing there myself on occasion), museums, and of course restaurants. Maybe you have some new ideas for us? No pressure…we’ll find something to do.
Working out keeps me feeling great in body and soul. I hit the gym or bike ride a couple of times a week (try and see some nature through the forest of buildings). I am an avid tennis fan and like to play, driven by my hope that I will magically be able to replicate "as seen on tv". I eat right more often than not and I hope you can appreciate my weird love for all things veggie. This is not to say that I don’t love a good steak and well, I don’t consider it dessert unless it has some chocolate in it.
I am excited about the prospect of finding my partner in crime…and that kiss…bringing a smile to my face already (big bonus if you are a great hugger too).
So, if you are up for some fun, making some great memories and laughing …say the word!
