,After a long debate with myself I decided to give this site a FAIR shot. Lol with that being said I thought it would be best to add a few things to my “about me”
I still believe in the old fashioned way of meeting people and the initial chemistry that we’re all looking for. However, aside from my fairy tale way of thinking I can also be somewhat realistic and open minded to see the good side to this on line dating…. For one it’s a great way to put your needs and wants as a priority versus the initial chemistry that can sometimes get in the way of good judgment.
I’ve had my share of life’s growing pains just like the next person the only difference is I’m not jaded just a little more careful and definitely more in touch with myself and what I want in my life.. I have very little patience for games and I think people our age should know what they want and if you don’t know it by now you probably never will. Lol
People say it’s hard to talk about yourself but it’s the opposite for me .. I know me better than anyone else does so why feel that way. I think the problem is not being honest with yourself and everyone out there to admit you’re not perfect but hope to find that special someone that weighs out the good and the bad and still accept you, imperfections and all while also allowing you to be who you are and not who they want you to be..
Now about me: I consider myself a down to earth girl that enjoys all the little things in life, I love to have fun and I tend to make the best out of any situation and feel completely comfortable in any setting. I’ve been told I have a great personality many times over and without sounding conceded I will definitely agree. I think it’s my out look at life… it’s too short why worry about the things you can’t change …. I focus on the things I can!
There are no mistakes in life, just bad choices that help us build character and strength and ultimately placing us were we need to be.
I was raised with old school values and with that I mean family comes first from being a good house wife to being unselfish for the wellbeing of my family. I’ve been self sufficient and a great provider for my family. However it would be nice to know someone is there to watch my back at times.
I love to spend time at home, decorating and making it my own. Nothing better than being a couch potato and enjoying a good action movie with lots of popcorn.. lol but that’s not to say I don’t enjoy putting on my stilettos and going out to a nice dinner and having a glass of wine. I enjoy hanging out and just listening to a band and if you’re light on your feet we can even dance the night away and if you’re not just know I’m a dancer and let me be me.
I have a great sense of humor I like to kid around a lot and if you can’t believe I’m 46 my guess it’s because I smile and laugh more than I cry even though at times I’ve had more reasons to cry, my glass is always half full ;)
I’m a total dreamer and probably way to trusting for my own good but that's me… the center of my life is god and my family they're the ones that have molded me to who I am today.. lastly I know exactly what I’m looking for and what i want in my life and that goes in my personal life as well as in my professional life, the dreamer in me would like to think my unselfish bestfriend still out there looking for me....GF
