I grew up in Southern California and I've lived on the East Coast as well- went to school in Boston and Philly-but ultimately chose to live in the Bay Area because I enjoy getting outdoors for both winter and summer sports. Here are just a few of my loves: camping/backpacking, hiking, snorkeling, swimming, skiing, sea kayaking. I'm pretty enthusiastic about trying just about any sport, except skydiving. I'm also a regular yogi; it's the best way to unwind after work.
I'm a city girl, and enjoy going out on the town, trying out new places to eat (I'm a foodie and don't think there's any place that rivals California) and even though I can rough it in the great outdoors, can also get dressed up and have a night on the town. I can cook and enjoy watching food shows (addicted to Top Chef) to pick up tips for my next quick and tasty meal.
I like to travel ALOT and am always looking for new adventures: I've hiked Machu Picchu, been to the Galapagos, kayaked the NaPali coast; next on my short list are New Zealand, Patagonia and Palau. I love living in the Bay Area so that I can do weekend trips: Tahoe, Yosemite, Big Sur, Napa.
Life is all about balance...fun and work; I work hard during the week, but am fortunate to have many opportunities to play as well. I've got a light-hearted sense of humor, with just a touch of cynicism. I'm fortunate to have an amazing family and group of friends who I can always rely on. I'm looking for a partner who is motivated, both professionally and personally, to live life to the fullest and is also looking for a special someone to share that with.
