Hello there…I am very passionate about life in general..."carpe diem" is the philosophy I try to live by. I love people, my family, my friends and my job. I am an energetic, honest, fun, loving, enthusiastic, independent and creative person. I work hard at my job. I put a lot of heart, time and energy into what I do. I can be silly and I love to laugh; people tell me I am spunky. Also, I admittedly am a nerd.. Seriously. I just love to learn and I teach myself things all the time. Lately I am very much into health and nutrition. I am always reading blogs and magazines about healthy eating, recipes and an overall healthy lifestyle. I have also loved to write for as long as I can remember. I remember writing poems in the back seat of my family's car on road trips when I was in second grade….writing has always been an outlet for me. I also love photography, cooking and can’t live a day without music. I really love anything creative. I am very close with my family, busy during the week at work and like to fill my weekends and summers with a healthy mix of fun, friends , family and relaxation…so, that's a little bit about me...
But, enough about who i am…Who am I looking for? Well, I believe a good match for me would be a sincere, FUN, intelligent, healthy, positive guy who is in a good place in life, knows who he is and what he wants. Are you my handsome nerd?? ;)
A great sense of humor is a must!! We would be compatible if you are a guy who loves to laugh but knows how to be serious as well, someone who loves to fill his life with enriching experiences and people, and is honest with a positive attitude. I love funny, creative and goofy people that are kids at heart…that is how I am. I also appreciate someone who is independent and confident. I would hope to meet someone who does not necessarily have to share my interests and/or qualities but who could appreciate them in me and I would want to do the same for him. For example, I do not follow sports but I'd definitely go to a game with you and have fun. :) Having a lot of energy and motivation is a plus because I, myself, am an energetic person who loves doing things…a new day to me is an opportunity. I am definitely not lazy and couldn't be with someone who is. I can not date a smoker...I just consider it such an anti-productive habit. A passionate person is very attractive to me, and it doesn't matter to me what you are passionate about- your job, your family, a hobby...whatever it is, that is great quality. Overall, if you are a good guy with good character and some spunk, we will probably get along! I am at the point in my life that I want to meet someone to have a future with. I want to share my days with someone and go through life’s adventures together. I don't need someone to 'complete me,' so they say...or vice versa, I do feel complete and happy, but I would love to have a great guy by my side through it all, and I want to be that person for someone else...you know? :)
I have come to learn a lot about myself over the past few years and about relationships in general. I’ve witnessed wonderful lasting relationships, and watched others flop. From these experiences, I have come to believe that it is truly important to find someone with whom you can both truly be yourselves and form a relationship based on mutual respect, honesty, communication, and truly being friends! That is the kind of relationship I want to have. Those are the ones that last.
I also know that although we all have written what we are “looking for,” you can't really even write out a list of what you want in someone...sometimes you just 'click' and I think it really takes that click, chemistry, similar needs and communication for a relationship to be a good thing!
