I've lived in New York my whole life. But I'm not sure how much of a typical New Yorker I am. For one, I'm not always in a rush. Just like anyone who spends time in the city, I sometimes get caught up in how fast everything moves in daily life, but I also feel like it's definitely worth it to take a breath, slow down, and just enjoy each moment as much as possible. I'm the kind of person who could be in the middle of a crazy hectic day where I overslept my alarm, missed my train, realized I'm wearing 2 different shoes and I have an important meeting I'm not prepared for.. and can sit back and be like "oh wow, this is a REALLY great cup of coffee.. this is going to be a good day!". I really appreciate others as well who can find the silver lining in a bad situation and have a positive outlook on life. Guys who are always complaining or see the negative in everything are kind of a drag! :(
I like surrounding myself with people who are fun, funny, and easy-going. I love going out and enjoying good food and drinks, or sitting at a sports bar watching a Yankees or Giants game. I also enjoy relaxing at home some nights and watching a movie in my pajamas with some snacks and a glass of wine.
I'm a girly girl is some aspects.. I like when someone makes me feel special- whether its by sending flowers, making a sweet phone call, or something as simple as opening a door for me or helping me off with my coat. I can also be difficult in some ways though. If you pay for dinner, I WILL pay for drinks afterwards.. no exceptions. I'm an independent girl, and I'm NOT looking for a sugar daddy :)
I'd love to meet someone who is ambitious, social, and has a positive attitude. Someone who can make me laugh is a definite plus as well :)
