I'm an independent guy who has been single most of my adult life. I'm looking for a woman who is secure in her life, who is independent, strong willed, and also likes to push the boundaries sometimes. I don't think we need to "complete" each other. I think pushing each other to greater successes and being an inspiration to one another is important. I am working on losing weight and being healthier, which includes quitting smoking. The weight is a long term goal, and I understand if a guy of my size is not your ideal match. Sometimes you just need to take a chance, right? All in all, I'm looking for a relationship that has a solid foundation in friendship. We need to be able to hang out together and enjoy each other's company. I moved to LA in 2008 to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. I have been very lucky to have been working regularly during the past four years and have "made it." The relentless pursuit of job after job, and climbing the ladder from lowly PA to television editor has left little room for building a social life. Over half that time I was working a night shift, so that didn't help. I do miss the ability to avoid traffic when I worked nights though.
